Catholic Order of Foresters/St. Mary Count #1640
Catholic Order of Foresters is a fraternal organization that provides members with a variety of life insurance and annuity products. Members participate in community social, spiritual, and educational activities. The not-for-profit organization also grants scholarships for eligible Catholic students, and raises matching funds for the Church. The Slovenian Choir "Iliirija" was created in 1925 under the direction of Martin Rakar. Today we have over a dozen men and women who sing beautiful Slovenian hymns during Slovenian speaking Mass and upon request for special events and weddings. Holy Name Society
St. Mary's Holy Name Society was historically an organization of men, but recently began accepting female parishioners. Members of the Holy Name Society - both individually and collectively in parish society - are called to build the kingdom of God in the parish and community by completing Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy. Saint Mary Alumni
The group is made up of people who attended or graduated from Saint Mary's School. The group gets together to share fond memories, socialize and help out the parish as needed.
Saint Mary Cycling Club
Our newest church community is the Saint Mary Cycling Club which is made up of members who are bicycling enthusiasts. Parishioners and Father Kumse have been coming together for years, but have now organized into a cycling club in 2011. Special events include The Blessing of the Bikes at St. Mary, as well as an annual 45 mile ride from St. Mary Collinwood to Slovenska Pristava. Saint Mary Seniors

St. Mary's Church added a Youth Group organization to our parish life in 2011. Slovenian Mission Aid Society (MZA)
The Slovenian Mission Aid Society consists of individuals who work together and raise funds to assist mission work in under-developed countries.
